  1. WinDIG  Version 1.0  (First release)

  3. WinDIG is a data digitalization program.
  4. Load a Windows bitmap, define a reference system on this bitmap, and get
  5. point coordinates. Very useful if you have a scanner.
  6. Main features:
  7. - Get bitmaps from a file or from the clipboard
  8. - Basic bitmap edition functions for small corrections
  9. - Manual or fast automatic curve digitalization mode
  10. - Configurable data format (normal or exponential)
  11. - May handle up to 32767 data
  12. - Save digitalized data on file or into the clipboard
  13. - Any axis system allowed, even tilted, rotated or non-orthogonal !
  14. - Automatic search in any of the 4 directions
  15. - Allow also colored curves digitalization
  16. - Zoom window for higher pointing accuracy
  17. - Supports drag and drop of Windows bitmap files
  18. - Full description in a Windows help file
  19. - FREE OF CHARGE: no billion of $ to send all over the world...

  27. To install WinDIG : create a new directory, unzip these files in 
  28. this directory, and add an icon in one of your program manager groups.
  29. WinDIG will create a windig.ini file in the same directory, but nothing
  30. elsewhere.
  31. To uninstall WinDIG, just remove this directory and the program manager
  32. icon.

  35. I have used the LOADBMPS.PAS snippet from the (great) SWAG archive.
